I will be going to Westerly Rhode Island Oct 16th-20th for the

Academic Conference: 17th Century American Northeast Conference

Friday, Oct. 18, 8 am–9 pm & Saturday, Oct. 19, 8 am–6 pm
Scholars in the fields of anthropology, archaeology, history, ethnohistory, geography, literature, and Native American studies gather to reexamine the complexity of a changing cultural landscape and the consequences of colonization and warfare.

Registration is required.

  1. Thanks so much for the information and invitation. I don’t have any vacation time left to do that. I used most of it up when mom was sick and took a week to help clean my dad’s house which isn’t finished yet.  This week working on making chocolate teddy bear pops and cookies for Sarah’s birthday party for Emilia along with finalizing tribal newsletter.   I’d like to be in the loop anyway though in case I can pull something out of my hat last minute with work.
