All paperwork final and I now own what once was just a dream!

My Husband has given me the tools to follow my dream and to truly hit the road and proceed with my quest to find my Native American roots~ Love you Jaybird!!! I am ready! I am going to start making arrangements to meet with the tribes I need to meet with and do the on hands research that I need to do – I have done all I can on the internet it is a have to be in person thing now! I’m excited and I’m ready! My Ancestors are leading this journey and I’m enjoying letting them guide the way~ I am going to look into getting sponsorships/grants for this research – time to bring in the help so I can truly do the research I need to do~

Barkhamsted Historical Society vice president Paul Hart, Drew Shuptar-Rayvis of Brookfield, a descendant of the Accomac/Pokomoke people of Virginia, Coni Dubois of Louisiana, who organized a reunion of Barkhamsted Lighthouse descendants, and anthropologist Kenneth Feder pose before a tour of the Lighthouse Village Friday.

Coni DuBois of Louisiana, who worked 10 years to coordinate the reunion, was made honorary marshal of the July 4 Lions Club parade and other descendants marched in the traditional event.
