Meet Little Me! (And Go on a Treasure Hunt)

You might notice some new faces popping up around here — one of them is mine, just a little shorter and a lot cuter!

Meet my new sidekicks. Little cartoon-me is going to be dropping in all over the blog with side notes and tidbits as you read:

• Coni’s Tip — when I have a research trick or a hard-won lesson to share, she’ll pop up with her magnifying glass.
• Did You Know? — for the fun little facts and surprises I dig up along the way.
• Ancestor Story — she’ll mark the stories of our ancestors, hugging the old books close, just like I do.

And here’s the best part: I’m hiding a treasure on every page of this blog. It’s a little bronze emblem — a tree growing out of an open book, with stars sprinkled around it. The tree is our family, roots deep and branches reaching, growing right out of the stories these books hold. The stars are our ancestors, watching over us.
