I’ve still got some researching on Reuben but as far as I can see his father was of English blood and mother was Native American – Been focused on getting as far back as I can go and now gonna work my way back to fill in the gaps – this is 18 years of work for me – have many many people on my tree I’ve done (around 18,000) from all my lines (Mother’s and Father’s) The Chagum line has been my main focus thou for a couple of years – I’ve been working with several Archaeologist in the Native American field – been to several of the digs – Pequot War, King Philip’s War along with working with several of the Historical Societies in the local areas~ This has been an amazing journey and I’m only starting – now that I’ve done the researching I’m gonna be visiting these areas and getting as much documentation I can – this is a wonderful story and rich in early American History – A story that must be told! Let me know if I can be of any help – I’ve done Theodore & Clarinda and have tons of documents (I’m also a descendant of theirs by their son William Barber) We are close cousins~
