Planning a trip to Connecticut/Rhode Island…

Still planning my trip to Connecticut/Rhode Island Nov 7th-12th 2012 – Planning several events
1. 11/8 Visiting the Barkhamsted Lighthouse Site – Barkhamsted Ct – meeting with Doug Roberts/historian in that area – also going to look over Satan’s Kingdom an Indian Village that my Chagum’s were associated with – trying to hunt down /property they owned in the 1700’s
*Also meeting with new family connections of the Barkhamsted Lighthouse descendants
2. 11/8 Visiting the White Buffalo born in Goshen CT – born June 16th named Yellow Medicine Boy (can view more http://www.wtnh.com/dpp/news/litchfield_cty/rare-white-bison-born-after-tribal-dance–prayer#.UI8gr4aE7ls)
3. 11/9 Meeting with a few Historical Societies – also will be heading to Stonington Ct. to do some research and viewing of area
(Since the hurricane Sandy – unsure of this – depends if I can get around the area and if anything is open in the records department)
4. 11/10 Going the Westerly-Pawcatuck Veteran’s Day Parade will line up in the Pawcatuck Shopping Center at 8:30 AM
(Since the hurricane Sandy – unsure of this also – have to check to see if this is still taking place – if not will be doing the Parade at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum)
5. 11/10 4:30 pm – going to the PLANTED SEEDS, Healing Fire of the Sister Tribes @ 2 Matt’s Path Mashantucket Ct 06338 – meeting with several Chiefs and tribal members~ Hosted by the North Eastern Woodland Alliance
6. 11/11 Going to the Mystic Fall’s Battlefield Archeology dig with Archeologist Kevin McBride
7. 11/12 Heading home
