Have been updating the Barkhamsted Lighthouse Research Book

I have been working non stop on the Barkhamsted Lighthouse linage’s – going thru each and every line to make sure I’ve covered them all.

I am at James B Barber the son of Hannah (Chagum) & Reuben Barber. I have just updated the research book in my research book area but will be putting out another one soon.

I create the books to be able to read them and fix the errors – I print them out then make my notes in them and then make corrections in my files – it let’s me see where work needs to be done. It is the main reason I created my research books area here on this blog – hated that only I seen the results of over 20 years of work.

As with merging files and doubling up on people there are many errors and much work to be done on several lines in my files . Daily I am in different lines – different directions – I work on them as I cross them to the best of my abilities~ You see any errors please let me know which research book and what page (PDF page not actual page – #’s are off)

I have many projects going on and am thrilled at the response we are getting on this blog – more and more are following me and my journey to find my Native American Roots~ One of the greatest joys is the family I am finding (or they are finding me lol) and coming on board and sharing photo’s/documents/records and such – our Facebook Group: Barkhamsted Lighthouse Village is truly taking off – have many lifetime family researchers in it and they are all helping to bring the story of the Lighthouse people to the public – I truly couldn’t have gotten this far without the help of so many family members sharing their work~

I have been adding as many notes and such as I can find – having to double check everything right now thou – so much has been lost and so much has been doubled up with the upgrading of software and merging of files – Main focus at this time is the Barkhamsted Lighthouse Tribe and all the descendants – I have worked my way from me to James B Barber so far and will be tackling Reuben and Hannah (pretty much have that all done along with James & Molly Chagum – keep it updated) Once I get thru these few more lines I will put out another research book – that would be the one you’d want to print – I recommend you take the printed copy to Office Depot and they will bind it for you for under $10.00 (I pay abt $7 in Louisiana to be done) Simple clear cover with black back cover and ring binding is all you need – the price is in your ink to print – you will need color to view all highlighted notes and can be costly – many of my books are in the hundreds page count~

I do want to note – I add a Coni’s Note: In my Research Books – when in need of a file or I’m needing more info – if you can help confirm or contribute a record it would be greatly appreciated~
